All written content and the classification dataset in this repository are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

You may:

  • copy, mirror and redistribute the guides and the classification data, including commercially
  • quote and excerpt with attribution
  • build on it — transform, merge, ship it inside your own tool

The only condition: attribute the source and link back to china-trademark.net.

The generator script (scripts/build-classification.py) is released under the MIT License, also included in the same LICENSE file, so it can be dropped into any pipeline without attribution friction.

Trademarks

"MY CNTM", the site design and the logo are not covered by the license. Nothing here grants rights in the name or the marks of the agency itself.

What the license does not cover

  • The classification data itself originates from CNIPA / WIPO publications. This repository is a formatted, bilingual copy prepared for ease of search and reuse. Official classification tables are published by CNIPA and WIPO and may be revised; before filing, check the current official version.
  • Content is general information, not legal advice on a specific matter. Fees and practice change — confirm current figures before relying on them.
